The MacroSat teleport located in Germany. It is the ideal location to land your international satellite traffic and connect it to a terrestrial network. This secure facility in the heart of Germany is linked to the European internet backbone via multi-megabit per second fiber optic links. With Ku and C-Band antennas ranging in size from 2.4M - 10Meters, currently pointing at 25 satellites, the Central European Teleport facilities can connect sites in the Americas, Africa, Asia, Middle East and from Western Australia to Central Europe.

Full redundancy of the fiber connections and the uninterrupted power supplies, along with the high level of the teleports physical security, reassures our customers of the utmost reliability of their networks. A User Help Desk is always available to take your phone calls, and teams of highly skilled satellite and networking engineers are on-call to reconfigure hardware whenever necessary.

The infrastructure allows the provision of services requiring a high level of reliability and availability such as video and audio broadcast services. This is maintained with the attendance of staff 24 hours, 7 days per week.

The MacroSat teleport is able to offer in addition to the above described services space segment if required. Part of the service in this case is an analysis of the customer requirements and detailed link calculations to find the best and most efficient satellite to fulfill the needs. To provide the best solutions the Central European teleport is cooperating with several satellite providers like Eutelsat, Intelsat, Europestar, Loral, PanAmSat, NewSkies and Hellassat.
